Today’s Top Picks:
San Diego Padres vs Chicago Cubs ML @10/13
Personally we think this is an easy W for the Cubs and idk why the line is so even. Cubs are starting Justin Steele, who has been phenomenal this year so far. He has a 1.44 ERA and a 0.88 WHIP on four starts this year, with a 3-0 W/L record. He has played at least 6 innings in all of these starts and had impressive performances against good batting teams such as the Brewers and Dodgers. He allowed 3 hits and no runs in 6 IP against the Brewers, 4 hits and 1 run in 6 against the Rangers, and 3 hits and 2 runs in 7 against the Dodgers. All of his wins ended in a final score of at least a 6 run deficit. It has become very clear that the Cubs DOMINATE when this guy takes the mound.
Braves -1.5 @20/23 vs Marlins
The Braves have Charlie Morton on the bump tomorrow who has been practically lights out this year. 3 of those starts were against high calibre offenses such as the Padres and the Cardinals.
The Marlins will be starting Bryan Hoeing who first appeared in the major last season where he was absolutely awful, allowing 17 runs in 12 1/3 innings. He has been bouncing around Triple A ball this year where he showing major improvement from last year but still has yet to prove himself at a major league level. Testing out the waters against a top 10 offense at home will be really tough for the kid.
Other Picks:
Orioles ML @20/33
Dodgers ML @4/5
Astros vs Rays – Over 8.0 @10/11
Rangers ML @4/6
Blue Jays -1.5 @1/1
