Orioles -1.5 RL @23/20 vs Athletics
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. A’s sucked on Monday, they still gonna suck on Tuesday. They STILL can’t get a starter to go 6 or more innings, and even though Muller is probably one of their better starters, he’s gonna turn it over to the bullpen early like all of the other A’s pitchers, so we expect some runs to be coughed up by the A’s to the O’s. Again, fade the A’s this season, getting +odds on the runs handicap, just take it, need we say more?
Yankees -1.5 Run Line @1/1 vs Guardians
The Guardians beat the Yankees today, but it was a very close 3-2 win with their ace on the mound. Tonight is the Yankees turn to have their ace on the mound (Gerrit Cole) and the Guardians will be starting Hunter Gaddis (definitely not ace material).
Gerrit Cole has had an excellent start to the year, going 2-0 with a 0.73 ERA. He has 19 strikeouts in 12.1 innings and has looked dominant.
Last regular season in 2 starts against the guardians, Cole went 2-0 with 12.2 innings and just to runs allowed. Additionally, in 2 postseason starts against the Guardians, Cole went 2-0 allowing just 3 runs across 13.1 innings.
New York Mets -1.5 @7/5 vs San Diego Padres
Looking at an MLB matchup between the New York Mets and the San Diego Padres. The Mets are coming off a 5-0 win against the padres, and are facing the worst pitcher in the Padres rotation. We think the Mets will build on their 3-1 record at home, and should be able to cover the run line in this one.
Colorado Rockies ML @29/20 vs Cardinals
Everything in this one is pointing in the Rockies favor. The Rockies are off to an okay 5-6 start and are currently 3-2 at home. You know who hasn’t been okay? Kyle Freeland, he’s been great so far, not allowing a run in 12.2 innings to start the season.
Miles Mikolas has had a good career in a Cardinals uniform but he’s had a rough start to the 2023 season, pitching to a 9.64 ERA and a 2.14 WHIP through his first two starts. we don’t believe pitching in Colorado will get him out of this rut.
Twins ML @4/6 vs White Sox
Looking at the Sox-Twins series again today. Lets be realistic, Lance Lynn is a washed up bum. Has not been good for two years, and even poop his pants in the WBC. On the other hand, Lopez is pitching for the Twins, and he shoves. We expect him to continue his hot start to the season, boasting a 0.73 ERA over 12 innings pitched.
Twins Lineup has also been very consistent through the first 10 games and has shown that they can hit lefties very well.
Kansas City Royals vs Texas Rangers -1.5 RL @10/13
There are 3 very early candidates for a 100-loss season, and the Kansas City Royals are definitely one of them. If the Tigers weren’t in their division we don’t think this team would make 50 wins and even still that seems like miles away. Getting diced for 10K’s by Andrew Heaney in a blowout loss, only to find out that you get to face Jacob DeGrom the next night has got to be the most disheartening feeling in baseball. Not to mention the fact that they are playing in their 10th game in as many days tomorrow, and won’t get a day off until Thursday when they have to travel back home to KC after they finish this 6-game road stretch. Gonna be a long year for those KC boys, God help em.
