The Six Nations Championship is an annual international men’s rugby union competition between the teams of England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales. The current champions are France, who won the 2022 tournament.

Saturday:

Scotland vs Italy, 12.30pm GMT

Scotland take on Italy in the first of the three matches on the concluding day of the 2023 Six Nations that is being dubbed ‘Super Saturday’. Scotland are well out of contention for honours, but will be targeting keeping third place ahead of rivals England.

Italy, meanwhile, will be aiming to claim their first win of the 2023 tournament and to finish above Wales, who host France. Italy have looked a better team this year and even gave France a tough time, we could even seem them winning here.

Our Picks: Dog of the Day

Italy Win @11/2

Under 52 Match Points @5/6

France vs Wales, 2.45pm GMT

France host Wales in the final round of Six Nations matches, with Fabien Galthié’s side still hoping to retain the title thay won last year.

However, in order for France to become the first country since England in 2017 to retain the title, they must secure a try-bonus point win and hope Ireland lose without a bonus-point against Steve Borthwick’s side at the Aviva Stadium.

Based on recent results we think this is too big a task hoping on a Ireland loss (Or England win) but France are still going to make easy work of this we believe.

Our Picks:

France -20 @1/1

Over 54 Total Points @1/1

France by 20 points or more. We expect the French to put on an exhibition in Paris to give their supporters real confidence going into their home World Cup later this year.

Ireland vs England, 5pm GMT

The Decider Can England finish on a high or will Ireland sail to a Six Nations title?

The day after St Patrick’s Day in Dublin and England are in town with the hosts able to secure only the fourth Grand Slam title in their history – the script writes itself. Scotland had earned a lot of plaudits in this tournament but Ireland were noticeably better than them in every conceivable area of the game last weekend and that says more about just how good they are than anything about the Scots.

England looked to be improving under Steve Borthwick but suffered humiliation at home to France last weekend and, right now, there’s nothing to suggest they are in any position to go to the Aviva and put in the kind of performance that would be necessary to topple the number one ranked side in the world. Anything could happen but surely it will be Ireland, not France, who are truly celebrating at the end of this year’s tournament.

Our Picks:

Ireland -15.5 @5/6

Over 50.0 Points @10/11

We’re going with the Irish to see out this tournament in style with a commanding victory over England. Andy Farrell’s side have been nothing short of excellent from start to finish and will be more than worthy Grand Slam winners. It bodes well for their chances at the Rugby World Cup later this year.

We will post game weekend picks throughout the tournament so check back each week for our full picks.
