Returning to the under for the Jets vs Islanders. We took this line a few days ago and the end result was a 2-1 game. It’s the same story, we’ve got two top three goalies in the NHL facing off against each other and will be playing in front of two teams that have really struggled to get their offense rolling lately. Only hiccup here is the Hellebuyck had a disastrous start to the Avalanche game, Overall Hellebuyck has been great this season and as of late, allowing 2.39 goal per game with a 0.926SV% this season. Sorokin has also been playing well this season, and as of late, allowing an average of 2.43 goals per game with a 0.924SV%. These teams have both struggled offensively lately with the Islanders coming off a game where they only managed to get 18 shots on goal and the Jets tend to average in the low to mid 20’s for SOG per game over their last few games.
Toronto Maple Leafs ML @20/29 vs Kraken
After a defensive battle against the Wild in their last game out we expect the Leafs to find the net a lot in their game against the Kraken. The Kraken have been inconsistent on defense and just collapsed against the bruins allowing 6 goals, 2 in the final 5 minutes. The Leafs are rolling right now and have too much fire power for this Kraken team to hold down. They should pepper the net most of the night and while Martin Jones has been good this season we can’t see him letting in less than 4 goals in what should be a Toronto onslaught.
