Joseph Parker vs Jack Massey

Parker to win Via KO/TKO @1/1

Under 8.5 Rounds @10/11

This is Parker’s first fight back since his 2022 fight of the year contender against Joe Joyce. Sky Sports have invested a lot in Parker and are looking for him to be one of their marquee names.

They’ve chosen Massey specially as he’s naturally a cruiserweight and has a respectable looking record, but they know full well this should be a fight to make Parker look devastating. Parker comes into this 32 pounds heavier than Massey, which is a huge advantage. Massey has never been in with anyone near that big and has only fought cruiserweights.

Not only is the weight difference a massive discrepancy but in terms of the clear levels between them, Parker is a former world champion who’s fought the very best of the division, Massey is a British level/maybe European level fighter. Parker has by far the superior hand speed, even being the bigger guy and since he hired Andy Lee as his full time trainer, he seems to pack a bigger punch.

Chris Eubank Jnr vs Liam Smith

Eubank via KO/TKO or DQ @9/4

Under 10.5 Rounds @9/4

Chris Eubank Jr will aim to extend his winning streak to seven fights when he takes on Liam Smith at AO Arena in Manchester on Saturday night.

He was supposed to face Conor Benn towards the end of 2022 in an eagerly anticipated bout that would have reprised the rivalry between their fathers, Chris Eubank and Nigel Benn, but a failed drugs test for Benn put an end to that, for now? so a replacement bout with Smith was organised instead.

This will be a middleweight bout at 160 pounds, and Eubank believes he should have no trouble in sweeping his opponent aside.

“Sixty per cent is much too generous to give to Liam Smith,” he said. He’s below that and if he’s ready for it then he will receive it.”

This naturally sparked a furious reaction from Smith, “If he was at 60% for the fight that never happened against Conor Benn, then he has to be at 160% to be ready to take on me, a former world champion, in front of thousands of my fans up north,” he declared.

But we think the momentum stays with Eubank here.
