Our Picks:
Phoenix Suns vs Minnesota Timberwolves – Under 225.5 @10/11
These two teams have combined to go under in 14 of 21 games this year, ranking 2nd and 4th as most likely to go under early in the season. Phoenix has yet to go over in 3 road games and Minnesota is 62.5% to the under in 8 home games.
These teams both rank in the top 5 in defensive efficiency (Suns are 3rd and T-wolves are 5th). Minnesota also ranks 22nd in offensive efficiency while Phoenix plays at the third slowest pace in the league.
UTAH JAZZ +4 @10/11 vs Hawks
The Hawks have fell behind early in a lot of games this year. Fortunately for them, they’ve played some teams with little to no depth, but that won’t be the case vs the Jazz. This game is two top-5 offenses against middle-of-the-pack defenses. We just like the depth and combo of vets/young guys in Utah to keep the Jazz ahead all game. They share the ball, space the floor, find good shots.
Portland Trail Blazers ML @20/37 vs Hornets
Portland is a new team this year with Grant solidifying this wild team. They have had a great start of the season and there is no reason why it wouldn’t continue this way tomorrow. They are going to play against a weak Charlotte side, playing without their best player Lamelo ball and without another important player in Gordon hayward. There’s a reason why charlotte is 2W-8L in their last 10 games.
Milwaukee Bucks vs Oklahoma City Thunder – Player Prop – Giannis Antetokoumpo under 7.5 assists @5/7
Giannis has only hit 8 assists 1 out of the last 5 games, 3 out of 9 for the season. Don’t get me wrong, there is a reason this is just under plus odds, Greek Freak can go over this easily if he decided to focus on his playmaking or depending on the defensive game plan on the Thunder.
A normal assist to assist opportunity conversion rate is about 50%. In the 9 games Giannis is averaging 5.3 assists on 10.8 opportunities for a 49% conversion rate, in the last 5 games he is averaging 4.6 on 9.8 opportunities for a 46.9% conversion rate.
