Fury vs Chisora,
Warm Up For Fury Usyk Or Just A Pointless Exercise?
December 3rd 2022, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The big question in the boxing world, do we need a trilogy fight after Fury won the first two. For me personally I think Fury is just reacting to Joshua running scared and did want to have trained for nothing, and we are looking forward to seeing The Gypsy King back in the ring.
With all the news surrounding this fight we also see a fight between Fury and Usyk in the near future, especially base on recent comments made by the Ukrainian hard hitter.
Usyk said: “It kind of makes me laugh a little bit. Why’s he doing this?” But Fury suggested that he will go after the Ukrainian star after he is done with Chisora.
The 34-year-old , though, remains focused on his upcoming clash and admits he respects his next opponent.
So with what looks like the biggest fight in recent years (Usyk vs Fury) just around the corner… like hopefully by May lets get on to what’s happening in December.
Tyson Fury vs Derek Chisora,
Our Picks:
Fury via KO/TKO @1/3
Tyson Fury In Rounds 1-3 @9/2
After beating Dillian Whyte in April, WBC champion Fury insisted he was retired, but the lure of fighting has been too great. Success always eluded Chisora whenever he has made the step up to the elite level and this was never more evident than when he fought Fury for a second time in 2014.
A clash with Wilder has not materialised for Chisora, and the re-ignition of his old rivalry with Fury has taken many by surprise. The pair exchanged words at ringside after Joe Joyce vs Joseph Parker last month, setting up for the trilogy showdown on December 3.
Background.
Fury and Chisora first fought in 2011, with Chisora defending his British and Commonwealth titles at Wembley Arena, both men went into the fight with a record of 14–0. Fury won by unanimous decision with scores of 117–112, 117–112, and 118–111. Then dominating and stopping Chisora in a European championship bout three years after that.
