This is Wilders comeback fight after two brutal defeats to the Gypsy King. Helenius is made for Wilder, slow feet, open guard and awful stamina. Wilder has come down to 214lbs for this fight which is a much better weight for him, it was clear in the final two Fury fights that the extra weight completely gassed him. Helenius on the other hand has come in his heaviest weight in 6 years, this tells us he’s not really took the fight that serious. Helenius has been KO’d twice before by Washington and Duhaupas who have both been KO’d by Wilder. Helenius has a bit of a name at the moment after stopping Kownacki twice, however the Pole was a knockout waiting to happen, also in the first fight Kownacki was having a lot of success against Helenius and looked to have him hurt. Wilders speed will be a huge advantage in this fight and we don’t think it’ll take long until he lands a bomb.
Overall we think we’ll see another example tonight of Wilders extraordinary power. Helenius just isn’t quick enough to get out of the way and that straight one-two from Wilder will take him out within the first 4 rounds.
