Our Pick: Complexity -1.5 @ 1.60
Complexity has been playing phenomenal CS lately. The NA organization picked up EU AWPer, hallzerk, and suddenly they started to pull upset after upset. They won against Astralis, HEET, ENCE, and played a close match against MOUZ and FaZe. Also, there was that massive upset against NaVi in a BO1. They destroyed paiN and ATK and put up a statement. However, Complexity was very unlucky and lost against Liquid and 00NATION in a super close fashion. Both matches could’ve gone either way. Complexity still looks strong and plays well against solid opposition.
Isurus should not even be competing here. It’s a relatively new roster, with meyern being the only well-known star. They have been struggling on a regional level against some tier 500 opposition. It really seems surreal that they play here. The Argentinians got destroyed by Imperial, 00NATION, and won against struggling ARCTIC. The only reason, why the odds on Isurus are not around 100, is the fact that they beat MIBR yesterday. It was a close match-up, but it does not say anything good about Isurus. MIBR absolutely threw the series. They have been underperforming massively in this tournament – the BO1 loss against ATK says it all.
It’s a very important elimination match for Complexity, and they could not have wished for an easier opponent. It will be an absolute sweep. I doubt Isurus will get to double digits. The skill gap is enormously big.
