Our Picks:
Knicks -2.5 @10/11 vs Pacers
You can make a case for the Indiana Pacers, and we wouldn’t argue with you. The Pacers are the fresher, deeper team, and the Knicks are losing players by the day. If being without Randle, Bogdanovic and Robinson wasn’t enough, the Knicks could still be down Anunoby and now Hart has his issue. At some point all these injuries are going to catch up to the Knicks, and getting a free bucket with the other side has value.
With all that said, the home team has won every game in this series. Also, the Pacers have won just one road game in these playoffs overall, while the Knicks have lost just one home game. MSG is going to be rocking. We will back the trend of the home team dominance.
Nuggets -5.0 @10/11 vs Timberwolves
The Timberwolves could be slightly shorthanded again with Mike Conley listed as questionable here, while the Nuggets are keeping an eye on Jamal Murray, who is also listed as questionable at the moment. The momentum is with the young Timberwolves, who will be brimming with confidence after winning by 45 points in Game 6. It’s going to be tough to replicate that effort on the road, where the Nuggets have been so tough to beat all season. The Nuggets will be disappointed with how they played on Thursday, but we think they can write it off, regain their focus and get the job done behind better production from their role players at home.
