The 2024 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix is a Formula One motor race scheduled to be held on 9th March 2024 at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The change of day is highly unusual but is to co inside with the festival of Ramadan which starts tomorrow.
Our Picks:
Winner – Max Verstappen @2/7
Dominant in general including practice and qualifying, what can we say other then Way Ahead of the field and has started this season where he left off.
Podium – Fernando Alonso @9/2
Looks in good form and we think will carry that on through out the race we think, and at these odds worth a punt.
Out on a value limb:
Podium – Lewis Hamilton @9/1
Some might think this pick is because of the romance of the sport but, we know what he can do and against adversity can shine (Plus offers great value).
Track Changes:
Most notably, the addition of a bevelled kerb and changing the position of a fence has cut speeds through the left-right sequence of Turns 22-23 by 30mph. In addition, a fence has also been pushed back by 7.5 metres at the quicker Turn 4 and by five metres at Turn 20 to improve visibility. These changes came in last years race so drivers should find no problems this time around.
