Pistons vs Magic -7.5 @10/11
The Detroit Pistons have been a feisty, competitive team at times this season, so them and the points is wroth a look most nights. The problem is the Magic are the best covering team in the NBA with a 37-19 ATS record. The Magic beat the Pistons by 12 points earlier this month, and they’ve covered 8 of their last 10 games overall. If you just blindly backed the Magic this season, you’re sitting on a mountain of profit. If it’s not broken, don’t fix it. Give us the Magic and the reasonable number on the road.
Knicks vs Celtics -6.5 @10/11
The Knicks are still missing a few players with Julius Randle, OG Anunoby and Duane Washington Jr all out, while the Celtics don’t have a single player listed on the injury report. The Knicks were good enough to snap their losing streak with a much-needed win on Thursday, but that was against a depleted and struggling 76ers squad, so we are sticking with the red-hot Celtics to stay hot with another win and cover here.
Timberwolves ML @5/17 vs Nets
The Nets have really been struggling for a while now and their confidence took another gut shot after getting dismantled by the Raptors in a 121-93 loss on Thursday, while the Timberwolves were riding a four-game win streak, before they got ambushed by the Bucks in a tough loss last night. The last time these teams met it was a 96-94 road win to the Timberwolves, so given the current form slump of the Nets, were definitely looking at the Timberwolves to get the win and cover despite playing their second game of a back to back set.
