NBA Season 2023/24
Slam Dunk
The NBA Games will come thick and fast so check back daily for our predictions.
Were well into the season now and with lots of competitive balls thrown now we will go for value until with some solid stats to go by, BOL
Our Picks:
Knicks vs Trail Blazers – Over 228.0 @10/11
Over 228.0? Were thinking the Over with the Knicks covering 4 times in a row, and could see this one being close. Safety first.
Timberwolves -4.5 @10/11 vs Magic
The Magic have been playing well, especially at home, while the Wolves have had mixed results of late. But we still really like the Wolves here primarily because of the number of injuries this Magic team has at present. Franz Wagner, Gary Harris, Wendell Carter Jr, Jonathan Isaac, Joe Ingles are all unavailable for this game, meaning the first and second units are both a bit thin for the Magic. That will put a lot of pressure on Banchero but Minnesota gives up the 2nd fewest points to that position, and if Banchero has a tough night we struggle to find where they’ll find the points.
Kings vs Pistons +11.5 @10/11
Kings are going to be big favorites, obviously, but they’ve underachieved for much of the season and not a team were excited to back on the road. The Kings have a lot of bizarre losses on their resume, and they’re just 18-17 ATS on the year. The Detroit Pistons don’t win, but they’ve been more competitive lately, and they’ve covered 6 of their last 10 games. Give us the boatload of points with the Pistons.
Mavericks ML @10/37 vs Grizzlies
Both teams are coming into this one with winning momentum, but the Grizzlies are certainly dealing with more in terms of injuries, The Grizzlies are capable of pulling off the upset if they can get big games from Jackson Jr and Smart, but the Mavericks are a team on the rise again and they looked great in their win over the Timberwolves. This should be close for the most part, but in the end we have the Mavericks winning comfortably at home.
Lakers vs Raptors ML @31/20
Raptors are still without Otto Porter Jr and Christian Koloko who are both out, while the Lakers are still missing Gabe Vincent and Rui Hachimura. The Raptors are starting to turn things around with three wins in their last four outings and they looked great in their big win over the Warriors on Sunday, while the Lakers were going through their worst slump of the season before they snapped out of it with a win over the red-hot Clippers. You couldn’t back either team with much confidence this season, but the Raptors have actually looked like the better team over the past week and they can pull off the minor upset against this inconsistent Lakers team.
