Bucks -11.0 @10/11 vs Spurs
Tonight the Bucks travel to San Antonio to take on a Spurs team that is 5-28 and just 2-14 at home. Milwaukee on the other hand is decent on the road with an 8-7 record and currently in a 2 game losing streak, 7-3 in their last 10. Milwaukee is playing their third game in four nights here and the second game of a back-to-back, so fatigue could be a factor for them here. With that said, the Bucks are facing a San Antonio team that enters this one as losers of 26 out of their last 28 games. The Spurs have struggled to slow down opposing teams from putting up points this season as they allow teams to shoot 49% from the field (24th in the league). They also give up 14.4 three-pointers per game (last in the league) and allow 39% from beyond the arc (29th) this year. These numbers are not favourable against a Bucks team that is number 2 in the league in field goal percentage and sixth in three-point shooting. Milwaukee put up 132 points in the first meeting this season and despite the potential for fatigue, they should look to break a 2 game losing streak.
Warriors vs Nuggets -3.5 @10/11
The Nuggets played the Warriors on Christmas, and Denver went on to win 120-114 through Nikola Jokic’s perfect night at the free-throw line. The Joker went 18-for-18 and ended with 26 points, 14 rebounds, and 8 assists. The Warriors will struggle to stop the Joker again. Curry put up 36 on Tuesday but we expect the Nuggets backcourt to fair better than Orlando’s.
