Denver Nuggets ML @20/33 vs Houston Rockets
Looking at Denver to continue their winning ways in Houston. Even with Murray out for Denver, Jackson had stepped up his game/minutes to support the team. The extra days off from the last game will help Denver be ready for Houston that’s on a 5 game win steak at home. Denver sole loss was to Minnesota on road and Minnesota is a much stronger team than Houston.
Pistons +7.5 @10/11 vs Bulls
Pistons have covered the last two games (one against the very good Sixers) and they have some advantages here against the Bulls. Bulls have only covered this spread once so far this season in a blowout win against the Jazz. Even if the Bulls win, counting on them to do it by double-digits might be a stretch. Both teams need this win (Pistons on an extended losing streak, Bulls off to a lousy start + revenge from earlier in the season). we see this as a hard fought, competitive game.
Nets -7.0 @1o/11 vs Wizards
The Nets are missing both Claxton and Simmons, which does hurt them a bit on the defensive end. But they have managed to still cover 7 out of 9 games this season and they haven’t had many soft touches. This is definitely a step down in class for them. We just don’t like the number but gun to head we’d take the Nets to cover. We wouldn’t take the Wizards, who we can see either barely sneaking in the 7 and sweating it or getting completely blown out.

Rockets +4.5 @10/11 vs Nuggets
Yes we have bet against the Rockets and included this but just for value. We’d rather take two teams that look to be evenly matched, or the wrong team is favored and bet against them than take teams that are potentially going to get blown out.
