Players will be making their way to Sedgefield Country Club in Guilford County, North Carolina. This beautiful course, designed by the renowned Donald Ross, offers a challenging par 70 layout that spans approximately 7,131 yards.
Last year’s tournament brought excitement as it witnessed a departure from the trend of winning scores staying above 20 under par. Instead, the thrilling competition resulted in a six-man playoff, ultimately clinched by Kevin Kisner, who secured victory with an eagle on the second hole. Notably, this highlights the relatively shorter length of the par 5s on this course, which can prove crucial for players’ strategies.
One aspect that remains uncertain for this year’s event is the condition of the rough. In the previous year, the rough was grown out more than usual, adding an extra layer of challenge for the golfers. However, whether the same setup will be employed this year is yet to be determined, making local insights about the rough length highly valuable for the players’ preparations.
It’s worth emphasizing that course history holds particular importance at Sedgefield. The past records suggest that certain golfers have consistently performed exceptionally well at this venue. As a result, the players’ track records at this course will be given considerable attention in the analysis. Those with a history of strong finishes here, especially among the top contenders, will be the focus of attention as they head into this crucial tournament.

Sungjae Im @14/1
Im, has generally been playing well this tour and will soon enough get the W, he was favoured here last year, we see a big week for Sungjae.
Shane Lowry @22/1
Its a simple e/w pick, Lowry can never be ruled out and has the attributes to hit a nice minus on this course.
