This is pretty much a must win for the Timberwolves if they want a real chance to make the NBA Finals, as you can’t drop the first two games at home and free great. With that said, the Timberwolves have lost 4 of their last 6 playoff games overall, and they’re 3-3 SU at home in these playoffs. The Mavs have won 5 of their 7 road playoff games.
As we have said countless times throughout these playoffs, the Mavericks are in good hands if Luka and Kyrie are going to be Luka and Kyrie. Those two scored or assisted on 81 percent of the Mavericks points in their game 1 victory. When those two are clicking like the superstars they are, they’re tough to beat regardless of where the game is played. The Mavericks have won and covered 5 of their last 7 games as underdogs. Give us the points with the Mavs in game 2 against the Timberwolves.
