Eurovision Song Contest
Music or Politics?

The Eurovision Song Contest 2024 is the 68th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It is taking place in Malmö, Sweden, following the country’s victory at the 2023 contest with the song “Tattoo” by Loreen

This years helping has some of the most diverse acts from across Europe, Ireland has finally qualified (Feels like its been a while) There’s a problem with the Netherland and one of the favourites to win Israel gets boo’s, that is why we ask is it now to political, or should world events be put to the back burner and let’s enjoy the music because isn’t that what its all about?

So on to business and trying to pick a winner, this is our Top 3 –

Croatia – @4/5

Seems in the betting like a full gone conclusion Croatia with there act Baby Lasagna, and there song “Rim Tim Tagi Dim” is touted as favourite and to be fair it is a catchy one.

Ireland – EW @16/1

As mentioned the Irish are back and with a strong pedigree in the comp we see a big finish with there act Bambie Thug and song “Doomsday Blue” this is maybe the most out there act ever seen from Ireland but that what its seemingly all about…. right.

Israel – @7/2

Controversial pick and most likely to get boycotted by other Countries, but for the real music fans this song should be up there the singer Eden Golan will be preforming  “Hurricane” it what will be difficult circumstances but please people vote for the song not there nationality.
