Lakers ML @13/10 vs Nuggets
The Nuggets could be shorthanded again with Reggie Jackson still listed as questionable, while the Lakers are still missing Cam Reddish, and they have Anthony Davis listed as questionable. The Nuggets took the Lakers’ best shots in Games 2 and 3, and they are now one win away from advancing to the second round. The Lakers still have a chance of staving off elimination if they could just get better support from their role players like Russell.
76ers -4.5 @10/11 vs Knicks
The Knicks and the free points are worth a look when you consider they’ve won 5 of the last 7 games against the 76ers. However, we do believe the 76ers are the better team overall, and you could argue they should be up in this series. The 76ers had a chance to win game 1, but Hart and McBride made tough shots down the stretch. Game 2 belonged to the 76ers, but they had a historic collapse in the final 30 seconds. Game 3 was controlled from start to finish for the most part. As long as Embiid continues to stay upright and lead the way, we believe the 76ers can win this series.
Mavericks ML @5/11 vs Clippers
Since the second half of game 1, the Mavericks have been the better team this series and would probably be up 3-0 if there was a fifth quarter in the first game. The Clippers have had issues finding a rhythm offensively, and not having a healthy Kawhi Leonard doesn’t help. The Mavs have a 2-1 series lead and Luka hasn’t even gone nuclear yet, as he’s shooting under 40 percent from the field and 30 percent from three for the series. It’s only a matter of time before those numbers improve, and that will be bad news for the Clippers.
