Our Picks:
Hornets vs Celtics – Over 217.5 @10/11
Celtics -17, Celtics have to win by at least 17 to push and 18 to win. So were backing the over, we see Celtics winning but 18 points is huge and Hornets are not that bad.
Pacers -13.0 @10/11 vs Nets
The Nets are on the end of a back to back and now have to play this up-tempo Pacers team that wants to score in the 140s. The Pacers and Nets met a couple of weeks ago and Indiana won by 21 points. The Nets pretty much don’t have anything to play for at this stage, while the Pacers are fighting to stay out of the play-in tournament. At home, with the rest advantage, there are no excuses for the Pacers.
Pistons vs Grizzlies +2.5 @10/11
Pistons are getting the benefit of the doubt because they’re at home, but that doesn’t mean much to us. Neither the Grizzlies nor Pistons are good, and neither side has anything to play for at this stage. If anything, the Grizzlies have won 5 straight games against the Pistons, which includes a 14 point win back in December. Also, 16 of the Grizzlies 24 wins this season have come on the road. The Pistons have lost 8 of their last 9 games, so home or not, were not laying points with Detroit.
