The UK’s biggest bare knuckle boxing company is back but this time its on the road. BKB comes to Wolverhampton with another huge fight card including the main event featuring the legend Jimmy ‘The King’ Sweeney vs James ‘The Truth’ Connelly and the return of Dan ‘Big Pod’ Podmore. With Tom Ross taking up his spot on the commentary table for what will be a unmissable show.

Fight Card and Picks – Highlighted Name is our Pick:

Main Event:

Sweeney vs Connelly

This is the fight everyone wants to see, Two of the best in the business, we are huge fans of Jimmy and against anybody else we would hands down back him but James Connelly is in the shape of his life, he’s camp has been great his new gym (Literally 2 minutes from where I live) is buzzing and we just can’t see him losing what should be a close fight.

Co Main Event:

Podmore vs Leak

This is probably our pick of the card, the return after a big injury of Dan Podmore, the work his put in at Fitness Factory Birmingham and the camp he’s had will show. This wasn’t the original fight Richie Leak stepped in after Carl Hobley pulled out. These two met before in a gloved fight which Leak won but this is a Bareknuckle contest and will suit a hungry Big Pod who’s long awaited return is finally here, we don’t see this going deep and fancy a KO/TKO victory for Podmore.

Reffell vs DY

In honesty don’t know much about DY, on the other side of the ring Martin Reffell is no stranger to BKB and will take the fight to DY and we see a straight forward victory.

Rest of Card:

Churcher vs Stokes

Taking nothing away from Stokes this should be a great fight, But Marley ‘Tank’ Churcher is coming for the win. Churcher who’s fight camp is with Simon Haycock at The Fitness Factory Birmingham gets to train with Bare Knuckle royalty past and present including Dan Podmore, Connor Tierney Kris Trez and so many more Churcher via KO is what we think.

Handley vs McPike

Mark Handley is the more seasoned fighter but as said in the Churcher pick Sean McPike is another product of Fitness Factory Birmingham. Sean has come a long way and looks sharp that added to the legends of the BKB World his got to train with and gain experience from its hard to back against him.

Smugger vs Massey

Nathan Massy will have his work cut out for him in this one. Smudger Smith is a machine, another Birmingham fighter who trains at Connelly’s Gym which is ran by main eventer and Champ James Connelly. Smith is a fighter who will never back down and brings the fight to his opponents.

Reffell vs Wilson

This is Reffell’s BKB debut, she trains with partner Martin Reffell who is also on this card. Mathilda Wilson is a experienced Bareknuckle fighter and will be a handful, but were sitting on the fence and calling a draw.
