NBA Season 2023/24
Slam Dunk
The NBA Games will come thick and fast so check back daily for our predictions.
Were well into the season now and with lots of competitive balls thrown now we will go for value until with some solid stats to go by, BOL
Our Picks:
Looking at todays slate and were only feeling a couple of games so hopefully pays off.
Timberwolves -3.5 @10/11 vs Mavericks
The Wolves are heading into Dallas, who are in the bottom 20% of the league in terms of “points in the paint allowed”. Minnesota relies on both of their towers out there in Towns and Gobert, along with some shifty guards who know how to get to the rim. Thinking they seize control of this game and use their grind-it-out defensive-type mentality to take advantage of an unhealthy Mavs squad.
Lakers +5.5 @10/11 vs Clippers
Its this simple, Clippers on fire, Lakers ice cold, coach issues, defense issues, motivation issues, Clippers always beat them, entire world is hammering Clippers.
Pelicans ML @6/4 vs Kings
The Sacramento Kings have been hit or miss for much of the season, despite this recent winning stretch. The Pelicans are 20-15-1 ATS on the season, and they’ve won 3 meetings against the Kings this season, with the latest a little over a month ago. We don’t think it’s crazy to say the Pelicans are the more talented team. If Zion plays or not, give us the road dog.
Pistons vs Nuggets – Over 235.0 @10/11
The Pistons are still missing Isaiah Stewart and Monte Morris, while the Nuggets are coming into this one with a full squad once again. The season just can’t end quick enough for the Pistons who can’t buy a win these days, but to be fair, the Pistons have been more than competitive in their last two games which have been close. We can’t see anything but an easy win for the Nuggets who are coming off a rare loss, bur think pistons score so the over looks safe.
Warriors -2.0 @10/11 vs Raptors
Raptors will again be shorthanded with Otto Porter Jr ruled out and Gary Trent Jr listed as questionable, while the Warriors have ruled out Chris Paul and they have Jonathan Kuminga listed as questionable. The Raptors haven’t been able to build any momentum lately and you could say the same about the Warriors who haven’t looked like the team we used to know.
