Knicks -9.0 @10/11 vs Wizards
The Knicks are the real deal right now and peaking. This team is one of the toughest teams to play in the NBA, with depth and all the right players catching fire at the moment. Julius Randle has been on fire, and the Wizards front court is giving up everything in the paint a defense could possibly give at this level. Jalen Brunson is playing more of a distributor role and has now registered a double-double in b2b games.
Pacers +5.5 @10/11 vs Celtics
The Celtics are the more balanced team and should be favored, but it’s hard to turn down the Pacers and free points given their current form, especially at home. The Pacers are on a roll and their offense is downright scary. It’s not what you want to see on the end of a back to back. The Pacers also beat the Celtics a month ago in tournament play. This should be a fun game, but the Pacers have the offensive horses to beat anybody when they’re rolling like this.
76ers vs Jazz +11.5 @10/11
The Jazz were playing some of their best basketball of the season before they got humbled by the Celtics in a massive defeat last night and you could say the same about the 76ers who just got thrashed by the Knicks in a tough loss. The 76ers are still missing a few players including Tobias Harris and De’Anthony Melton, so while we like the 76ers to get the win, we are going to side with the Jazz to hang around long enough to get a backdoor cover.
Rockets vs Bucks ML @10/27
The Bucks have cooled off slightly and they were far from convincing in their narrow win over the ice-cold Spurs on Thursday, but they’re still in better shape compared to the Rockets who just got run over by the Timberwolves last night.
