Our Picks:
Knicks ML @10/11 vs Magic
Magic is almost the worst team shooting the 3 this season as well as bottom 10 in PPG. Their slow paced offense can’t compete with a team like NY when they’re playing well. With that said, NY has been averaging 120 PPG the last 3 games while ORL has been averaging only 112 with an embarrassing 92 points their last game.
Thunder ML @1/1 vs Nuggets
Were riding this Thunder train to the end. They’re better on offense than this Nuggets team, and they play way faster. Denver plays really well on defense this year, but it won’t be enough to keep up all game.
Hawks vs Kings – Over 250.0 @10/11
ATL ranks 5th in pace and offensive rating with the 4th lowest defensive rating. It’s pretty difficult to contain ATL as is – especially with the tear Trae has recently been on. SAC ranks 10th in pace and 12th in offensive rating with the 10th lowest defensive rating. SAC has definitely stepped up their defense from last year, but it still has a ton of holes.
SAC had a terrible game outside of Fox and Sabonis last game and this is a perfect bounce-back spot. Were a bit worried about SAC’s shooting splits on the road, but we’ll take that chance against this horrendous ATL defense.
Cavaliers vs Bucks ML @1/2
The Milwaukee Bucks look to stay hot after winning 13 of their last 16 games. The Cleveland Cavaliers look for a statement win after winning 5 of their last 6 games. For us the Bucks are flying and win this even covering the spread.
Celtics ML @4/9 vs Raptors
The Toronto Raptors need a win after losing 8 of their last 11 games. The Boston Celtics have won their last 4 games. This lean is to easy to take Celtics @4/9 seems like value.
Rockets vs 76ers -1.5 @10/11
The 76ers are going to be shorthanded again with Nicolas Batum and Joel Embiid both ruled out already, while the Rockets are still missing Jabari Smith Jr and Dillon Brooks. The 76ers are coming into this one as one of the hottest teams in the league despite the injury to Embiid, while the Rockets have gone cold and are coming off a bad loss to the slumping Suns. The 76ers represent decent value in this coin flip of a game, so I’ll back the 76ers to get the narrow win behind a big game from Maxey.
Trail Blazers ML @4/9 vs Spurs
You couldn’t back either team with any confidence of a return these days, but the Spurs made it look easy against the Trail Blazers last night. It’s always tough to beat the same team twice in a row and the Spurs have been one of the coldest teams in the league, so we’ll lean towards the Trail Blazers to come out swinging and get their revenge here.
