Our Picks:
Atlanta Hawks vs Houston Rockets – 4.0 @20/23
Betting the Houston spread has worked for us quite a few times in a row so were going to stick with it. They are the best team ATS in the league so far with a 10-1-1 record whereas the Hawks are the worst team against the spread overall with a 6-20 record and the 4th worst away ATS at 5-9. We think Rockets have much superior defense should help them pull out the win.
Heat vs Magic -5.0 @10/11
The Heat have been plagued with injuries so far this season, and Jimmy Butler being out is my main reason for this pick. They’ve struggled so far in their 4 games without him going 1-3. With Jimmy out, the majority of the scoring should fall on Herro and Bam. The Magic are 11th in points in the paint allowed (and 7th at home), so they should be able to slow down Bam.
Hornets vs Pacers – Over 249.0 @10/11
Two teams with no defense and full throttle offense. Hornets main offensive play-maker, Miles Bridges, was denied access to Canada for their last match-up. He should be rested and ready to play. As long as Haliburton is out there we do expect Pacers to score 140+ on this team.
Knicks ML @5/6 vs Nets
On paper these teams are pretty close. Were leaning towards the Knicks because they have a better bench, and are coming off of a nice upset against the Lakers. Knicks have also won the last two times they played the Nets.
Bulls +4.5 @10/11 vs Lakers
Keeping this simple, were riding this Bulls wave till it breaks. Bulls have covered 9 straight, and there playing at home.
