NHL is Back
Stanley Cup Tips
The NHL Season is here and so do our daily betting picks.
The National Hockey League is a professional ice hockey league in North America comprising 32 teams, 25 in the United States and 7 in Canada. The Stanley Cup, the oldest professional sports trophy in North America, is awarded annually to the league playoff champion at the end of each season.
Our Picks:
Minnesota Wild ML @10/11 vs Calgary Flames
Minnesota is on heater right now and Coach Hines has them going. Gonna steal this one away in Calgary.
Sharks +1.5 @21/20 vs Islanders
We know they are THE dog ass club, but they have turned it around in their last 5. Totally new team mentality after Quinn just ripped into the team a week before Turkey week.
Sabres ML @11/10 vs Red Wings
Tage is suddenly playing tonight. Sabres are such a hard team to predict. They smoke the Rangers 5-1 and then lose three straight. Were taking them as dogs tonight as we think Tage being back will be a big boost for them.
New York Rangers -1.5 @7/4 vs Ottawa Senators
The Rangers have been playing the better hockey of these two teams as of late. The Sens have struggled when playing as home dogs this season, having won 1 of their 4 games and covering 2 of 4. The Rangers on the other hand have been amazing as road favorites winning 7 of 9 straight up and covering 5 of 9. When looking at the home/away splits, these teams have been on two different ends when talking about defense, with the Rangers allowing only 2.31 goals per game on the road. The Rangers also have the edge in net with Shesty starting.
Los Angeles Kings -1.5 @6/5 vs Columbus Blue Jackets
The Kings have yet to lose when playing on the road this season. Also, on top of winning every single game as road favs (which is relevant for today), they have also covered 4 of their 6 games as road favs. They have been terrific both offensively and defensively, and even though I don’t know for how much longer they can keep this up, you cannot go against them right now on the road. The Jackets have been respectable this season especially at home, whoever I just think the Kings have been way better.
Vancouver Canucks -1.5 @21/10 vs New Jersey Devils
These two teams have been doing the opposite of what everyone thought they would. The Devils have been a bit of a disappointment with how high the expectations were. Meanwhile, the Canucks have surprised a lot of people. The main reason for going with the Canucks on the PL in this one is the huge difference in net. Demko has been amazing for the Canucks, while Vanecek who is expected to start for the Devils has been shaky to say the least.
What There Playing For:
