NHL is Back
Stanley Cup Tips
The NHL Season is here and so do our daily betting picks.
The National Hockey League is a professional ice hockey league in North America comprising 32 teams, 25 in the United States and 7 in Canada. The Stanley Cup, the oldest professional sports trophy in North America, is awarded annually to the league playoff champion at the end of each season.
Our Picks:
VG Knights -1.5 @20/37 vs Sharks
Let’s be real. The Sharks have been terrible so far. They have struggled with scoring, and keeping their own end clean, and their 2-11-1 record shows it. Highlights being their back-to-back losses against the Canucks and the Penguins, when they got outscored 20-3 (combined).
Maple Leafs vs Flames – Over 6.5 goals @20/27
With the Leafs still dealing with all of their defensive injuries their opponents have been getting plenty of good scoring opportunities. Offensively the Leafs continue to score with their top 4 offensive weapons continuing to dominate.
Sabres ML @20/23 vs Wild
Sabres have been playing well recently, their only bad game in the last 5 being a 5-1 loss to the Flyers at home. They last played 3 days ago, so should be well rested and ready for the game tonight. The Wild, however, have lost 5 of their last 7 will be on the tail end of a back-to-back, so they will be tired and also will have their second goalie Filip Gustavvon in, who has the 6th worst save percentage and the most goals allowed per game in the league. A rejuvenated Sabres team playing at home should be able to take care of a tired Wild team and get the win.
WAS Capitals +1.5 @4/6 vs NJ Devils
Washington has covered the +1.5 puck-line in 7 of their last 10 games, while NJ has failed to cover -1.5 in 7 of their last 10 games. Washington are 11-1-3 in their last 16 games vs NJ, only failing to cover the +1.5 puck-line once. NJ has failed to cover the puck line in 7 straight games at home.
Ducks ML @20/21 vs Flyers
Are we missing something? If someone can explain why flyers are favored in this matchup that would be cool because we don’t get it. The mighty ducks are rolling with wins in the last 4/5 while the flyers having wins in 1/5. The ducks score slightly more goals on average and the flyers give up slightly more on average. In the last meeting between these two the ducks won 7-4.
