Finals Game 4

There’s no surprises here: WNBA No. 1 Las Vegas Aces are set to take on the No. 2 New York Liberty in the 2023 Finals. It’s a matchup that was predicted even before the season began, and now, the league’s most talented superteams will battle for supremacy on the grandest stage.

Current Finals Score – Liberty 1 Ace 2

Liberty vs Aces – 1am GMT

Picks:

Liberty to level up, ML @2/5

Over 168.5 @10/11

The New York Liberty look to force a game 5 on Friday with a victory here. The Liberty have lost just 5 games since July 30. The New York Liberty are averaging 83.2 points on 43.2 percent shooting and allowing 84 points on 44.2 percent shooting. Breanna Stewart is averaging 19.3 points and 9.8 rebounds, while Jonquel Jones is averaging 18.2 points and 1.8 assists.  Taking this into account and knowing how the atmosphere will be inside the Barclays Centre the Liberty will love been the under pressure from all angles.

This line is what it is because the Aces will be without Chelsea Gray and Kiah Stokes, two starters. The Aces have been rolling with a six-player rotation for the most part in these playoffs, so they’re going to have to play women who haven’t been getting big minutes. This is a massive advantage for the Liberty, and anything but a win for the home team would be a massive disappointment.

Players to Watch:

One player to keep an eye on is A’ja Wilson, who has been by far the best player since the playoffs began, averaging 25.8 points, 11.2 rebounds and 3.2 blocks per game on 59.5% shooting. If she continues playing like that, she could add a Finals MVP to her resume.

On the other side, Breanna Stewart is the player to watch for the Liberty. She won her second MVP award this season, but has struggled in the postseason at times. The Liberty will need her to maintain her form if they hope to win the series.
