The Qatar Grand Prix is a Formula One motor racing event which is held in Qatar. It was held for the first time on 21 November as part of the 2021 championship at the Lusail International Circuit.

Our Picks:

Max Verstappen, to win @1/6

Max Verstappen’s third straight championship is a forgone conclusion, and become official this weekend. Verstappen locked up the drivers’ championship in Saturday’s Sprit race and don’t need to win Sundays GP in Qatar but we think he will, its just a shame there’s not much value.

Lewis Hamilton, Podium @4/5

Hamilton has had a good weekend so far and we think he will top it off with some podium points possibly even putting in his best drive of the season so far.

Oscar Piastri, Podium @7/4

After taking pole position in the sprint shootout, Piastri bounced back from losing the lead at the start to retake the lead from George Russell, withstanding a late threat from newly crowned three-time World Champion Max Verstappen to win the sprint race. The rookie will be full of confidence and would make a fairy tale weekend complete with a podium finish.

Preview:

The 2023 F1 Qatar GP is going to be an interesting race especially with Max Verstappen losing out in the sprint to Oscar Piastri. To add to this, it’s safe to say that the championship celebrations are going to continue late in the night as well. Could that affect the Red Bull driver in the race?

To accompany him on the front row we have George Russell who had an impressive sprint with the soft tires. The second row will feature Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso as well followed by Charles Leclerc in P5. So with the sprint Saturday coming to an end, what can we expect from the 2023 F1 Qatar GP? Let’s take a look.
