Usyk vs Dubois

The Ukrainian fighter remains undefeated in his professional career, securing the undisputed cruiserweight world titles prior to ascending to the heavyweight category and clinching the championship once more.

This upcoming bout marks Usyk’s fifth appearance in the prestigious boxing division. His record includes victories over Chazz Witherspoon, Derek Chisora, and two wins against Anthony Joshua. However, he is yet to face a youthful, determined, and robust heavyweight contender such as Dubois.

Dubois, nicknamed ‘Dynamite,’ possesses formidable punching power, although it hasn’t guaranteed victory in every match. His lone defeat came against Joe Joyce during his professional journey.

This said and with a host of British pro’s and ex pro’s backing a potential upset in favour of Dubois were not seeing that, Don’t get us wrong Dubois is a great fighter but Usyk after beating AJ twice is another level and we need the Usyk vs Fury fight to see his true potential (Although we think Fury wins that) So let’s hope this is the wake up for the Fury and Usyk camps to finally agree a deal and give us Boxing fans what we want.

Picks:

Usyk Win via KO/TKO @1/2

Value Pick:

Usyk in rounds 4-6 @10/3

This is one for all boxing fans to enjoy, here is a few comments from AJ and Joe Joyce on this bout,

“I think Usyk is going to dance round him, Dubois won’t be able to hit him, he certainly couldn’t hit me when we fought, so he’s not going to be able to hit Usyk,” Joyce told talkSPORT.

“Dubois hits hard but you can’t hit someone who is going to be moving and he’s going to dance rings around him, peppering him with shots.

Anthony Joshua gives Daniel Dubois a chance in his challenge against Oleksandr Usyk for the unified WBO, WBA and IBF heavyweight championships on Saturday; “It’s a tough ask, of course,” Joshua said but added: “We potentially might have the heavyweight championship back on our soil”
