The Belgian Grand Prix, an esteemed motor racing event, constitutes a crucial segment of the prestigious Formula One World Championship. Inaugurated in 1925, the race holds the distinction of being Belgium’s first national motorsport event. Taking place at the iconic Spa region’s race course, this area of the country has been closely linked to the sport of motor racing since its earliest days.

Our Picks:

Max Verstappen – Fastest Qualifier, Fastest Lap and to Win the Race @15/8

Max has been some what unstoppable this season and helped his team (Red Bull) hit a record 12 straight wins last week at the Hungarian GP, we don’t see that trend changing here.

Lewis Hamilton – Podium @9/4

These odds scream value, Lewis was unlucky last week not to gain 3rd and is showing good speed and more consistency. The Merc driver is due a big race.

Sergio Perez – Podium @8/15

Part of the Red Bull Team with Verstappen who has contributed to the 12 GP wins in a row, this team is hot right now and will not cool off soon.

Track Talk:

Spa is among Formula 1 drivers’ most loved tracks, with its mix of long straights and challenging fast corners allowing them to push their cars to the edge of their capabilities – if it’s dry, that is. The size of the track and the nature of Belgian weather means it can sometimes be raining on one part of the track and dry on another, meaning grip can vary from one corner to the next. Keep an eye on the thrilling Eau Rouge, arguably the most famous sequence of corners in the world, as the drivers flick left, right and then up the hill through Raidillon.
