Stanley Cup Tips
The NHL action comes thick and fast throughout the regular season with each team playing 82 games, totalling 1,271 total regular-season games. We at Degen bring the best picks from the almost daily action, until now where we find out who takes the Stanley Cup.
There are only two teams left standing in the 2023 NHL Playoffs: The Florida Panthers and the Vegas Golden Knights. No matter how the Stanley Cup Final matchup turns out, it’ll be a historic moment for the winner, as it will be both the Panthers’ and the Golden Knights’ first ever championship. So which hockey team will get to carve their name into dear old Lord Stanley’s Cup?
VGK 3-1 Panthers – Current Series Score
Our Picks:
Panthers vs Golden Knights Over 5.5 Goals @4/5
We think we are going to see 7+ goals tonight. Las Vegas is going to try and close this series out on their home ice. Marchessault is just better than everyone else and will have a goal and two assists. We WILL see an empty net goal tonight, which is my main detail for an over. Golden Knights up early, then the Panthers will get back in the game via a power play goal. We also predict a Panthers win to keep the series alive @8/5, but thats for the dog chasers.
Player Prop:
Jonathan Marchessault (Vegas Golden Knights) any time goal scorer @6/4
Marchessault scored 11 goals in his last 11 playoff games. 4 goals in 4 games against the Panthers. In game 4, Marchessault was not as prolific as normal, providing just one assist, yet he still leads all skaters in the series with seven points, a record for the longest postseason point streak in Golden Knights history. Even though Marchessault did not score a goal in Game 4, he was still close to the net with plenty of opportunities. It just not went in for him that time. Fanduel overracting to that. Setting his scoring odds too high. Taking this value prop without hesitation to cash on another big odds baby.
