Early Betting Talk:
Marina Rodriguez -130 is probably the best bet on the card. We know its WMMA but she’s so much better on the feet and has solid tdd. Only losses are to Esparza and Lemos. She’s a clear level above Jandiroba.
Cejudo’s best shot to me is just being tougher and winning off cardio/attrition. We think Sterling’s striking and grappling is being overlooked. Were gonna just take Sterling beating Cejudo by TKO in 4 or 5.
Dober -200, believe he is way better than Frevola Andrade -200, likewise think she is levels above Xionan
Burns has the advantage in almost every category against Belal. He’s got the advantage in striking and BJJ and think -130 is a pretty generous line. I don’t think Belal is going to be able to control him on the ground for all 5 rounds, which is how he wins most of his fights. My biggest concern is the gas tank of Burns against someone like Belal over 5 rounds, but i’m taking him here.
For Rodriguez, despite her last lost, still think she belongs at the top of the division. Believe her striking is going to shine through in this one and will mitigate Jandiroba’s wrestling and BJJ. She’s fought the best of the best in the strawweight division and think she will show that there are levels this weekend. She’s gotta keep it on the feet, but believe she will do so.
