Our Picks:
New York Knicks -7.0 @10/11 vs Heat
This is the perfect spot to back the New York Knicks in a bounce back spot. The Knicks can’t drop 2 at home , they will be playing with desperation. We are publishing early to jump on this line before the potential absence of Jimmy Butler affects this line much more if he does end up sitting out.
On the other end , the Miami Heat may have every reason to take the foot off the gas for one game. Jimmy Butler is banged up , and he may not even play Game 2 at this point (We doubt that ends up being the case though , but if he plays he’s not 100%)
We’ll be the first to say , we’ve lost money fading playoff Jimmy Butler. We feel this is a spot that can get some back. A motivated Knicks team at home in a bounce back spot is where our money will be. Expect Julius Randle to make his appearance and statement in this series and the Knicks to clean up some issues in a Game 2 win.
Some stats to make you feel better: -Miami made 13 3-pointers last game; due for regression -Knicks may get Randle back , even if they don’t they only lost by 7 after turning it over 13 times in a rough outing -Knicks dominated the paint 62pts to 38pts for Miami. Expect the size to continue to be an issue for Miami (out rebounded them 48 to 39).
GS Warriors -4.5 @10/11 vs LA Lakers
Based on where the money is on this game so far – there’s a chance you may be able to get this line for plus money or take a shorter number dependent on what happens prior to tip off. Everyone is ecstatic about LeBron and AD in the playoffs and it’s easy to reason why, but y’all have forgotten a key recent addition and LeBron’s kryptonite, Andrew Wiggins. There’s an article somewhere on why Steve Kerr was so adamant on signing Wiggins a while ago and it was because of his defense on LeBron James.
