Tampa Bay Rays -1.5 @1/1 vs Boston Red Sox
The Rays are red hot right starting 12-0 and are just one game shy of the MLB starting record. Jeffrey Springs gets the call for Tampa Bay who has been performing lights out this season allowing 0 runs across 13 innings this season with 17 strikeouts. Corey Kluber is on the mound for Boston who is 0-2 with a 6.48 ERA. Rays bats have been hot against Boston and look for it to continue. Boston’s bats have come alive last game, however, look for them to struggle against an efficient Rays pitcher.
Yankees ML @4/6 vs Twins
You don’t need any stats here. Never mind the Twins are 8-4 and off to a good start, with some very good quality pitching. Never mind that Joe Ryan is on the bump and has been a breath of fresh air for the Twins. Never mind that most of these Twins haven’t endured much, if it all, of this HISTORIC losing pattern to the Yankees. Heck, you don’t even care that the Yankees are off to a great start this year at 8-4 with nearly double runs scored as allowed.
The only thing you need to know is that, just like any other year, the Twins are going to lose tomorrow in Yankee Stadium.
Brewers ML @6/5 vs Padres
Our favorite MLB pick for Thursday would probably be the Cardinals spread. However, this Brewers ML is way too nice not to take. The Brewers are the better as their record shows at 8-4 and winning 3/4 series so far this year. Brewers have not announced a pitcher yet so that kinda sucks. Padres are pitching Nick Martinez who is 0-1 with a 6.17 ERA. Something we noticed is that so far this year, the Brewers have not lost back to back games, and after losing to the Diamondbacks, we anticipate that streak to continue. If someone can explain to me why Brewers ML is so high please let me know.
Orioles ML @10/13 vs Athletics
Both pitchers in this matchup are subpar, but we think Kremer is better than Waldichuk. We also think the O’s bats are much better than the A’s. Expect this game to be a high scoring one but for the Orioles to get win.
