Mariners v. Guardians ML @5/7
Taking the better overall pitching staff in game 2 of the series in Cleveland. Guardians offense has been great through their first week and if they can get just a little run support tomorrow we think they can win game 2 and bounce back after the loss today.
Blue Jays v. Angels ML @20/23
Fading Berrios. His home/away splits from 2022 are less than ideal (ERA 4.24/6.36) and his first outing in Kansas City was a disaster as he was tagged for 8 earned. Give me the home team to bounce back after the loss today.
Rays -1.5 @20/27 v. Athletics
Rays are rolling. Riding this train. Its really that simple.
Orioles vs Yankees ML @10/13
Cole Irvin has limited experience against the Yankees but has given up HRs to Judge, Rizzo, and Stanton. Jhony Briton gave up 2 hits and 1 walk thru 5 in his MLB debut against the Giants last week. While not expecting a perfect outing again, we think he can limit the Orioles lineup due to the fact they have yet to face him. The Orioles used 5 relievers yesterday while the Yankees only used one of their high leverage guys. The Yankees pick up the dub.
Mets ML @20/33 vs Marlins
Rogers takes the mound again for the Marlins against the Mets. He gave up 4 runs to the Mets a few days ago while Senga played pretty well in his debut. Rogers also gave up at least 3 runs both times he pitched against the Mets last year. So we expect him to give up at least a couple again and the Marlins’ bats are pretty dry so, don’t see them getting more than one or two runs. We see this game ending 3-1 or 4-2 or something similar, maybe the Mets put up a few more runs but can’t see them losing this one.
