Hopefully Joshua has focused on his boxing instead of trying to be a celebrity. AJ has not won a fight since he beat Kubrat Pulev in December 2020. American fighter Franklin has. A professional record of 22 fights, 21 wins and just one defeat. His only defeat as against Dillian Whyte in his last fight. If he is to beat Joshua, he will need to be smart and try and frustrate the Brit. Joshua will be looking to send out a statement. On paper, AJ should have no real problems, but he will be quite cautious to start off. We are backing AJ to feel his way into the fight and get a late stoppage. Go with Joshua to claim a KO win in the 10th round.

Anthony Joshua: “I am looking forward to stepping back into the ring on April 1st at The O2 London. Mentally and physically, I feel ready. I want to put on a show and impress my coach as he has high standards. Franklin has a good style and a great attitude, which he has shown in recent fights.
Jermaine Franklin: “I’m ready to show the world why it’s time for me to take my place at the top of the Heavyweight division. Joshua had his time. It’s my time to shock the world! This fight isn’t going to the judge’s card. I will have win number 22 come April 1. That ain’t no April Fool’s joke.”
