Major League Baseball is a professional baseball organization and the oldest major professional sports league in the world. MLB is composed of 30 teams, divided equally between the National League and the American League, with 29 in the United States and 1 in Canada.
Opening Day is Thursday and rosters are set.
Early Season Betting Picks:
Adley Rutschman +2500 to win AL MVP. Yeah, Ohtani exists, but if he gets hurt or the Angels suck again while the Orioles make the playoffs, Rutschman will have a great case for MVP assuming he performs as good/better than last year.

Maybe our most polarizing division in terms of differences vs the books…
We are taking MIN o83.5 W (-115) and +215 to win the division.
CHW to finish 3rd in the division (+250) also offers good value with no one w/in 5 wins of them based on our projections. Also CHW to miss the playoffs (-160) is worth considering – we have them at 25% to make the playoffs which would be implied odds of -300.
AL West
HOU – 92.1 W
LAA – 84.9 W
SEA – 84 W
TEX – 81.2 W
OAK – 67.4 W
Houston has piled up injuries in the pre-season. Altuve out 2 months and Yordan is yet to swing a bat this spring.
Angels (+750) to win the division is worth a look as we are projecting them to have a similar record as Seattle (+325).
Oakland o59.5 (+100) looks juicy too.
NL East
NYM – 91.7 W
ATL – 91.6 W
PHI – 88.1 W
MIA – 79.5 W
WAS – 63.2 W
The only 3-way race for a division we see – ATL is the betting favorite. NYM (+175) is the play. Mid-season PHI (+370) will have better odds before they get Harper back after the ASG.
Miami o75.5 (-122) offers some value. Alcantara was fantastic last year and should continue to dominate.
NL Central
STL – 85.9 W
MIL – 85.3 W
CHC – 75.4 W
PIT – 72.6 W
CIN – 67.8 W
A true two-horse race, but MIL (+175) has value. If their pitching outperforms, they are dominant. STL bats outperformed last year and Vegas is accounting for recency bias.
PIT o67.5 (-115) offers value.
NL West
