Canes are just a better team than the Knights. Canes are coming off a very strange loss in which they dominated the Ducks, outshooting them 53-16, but lost. The Canes haven’t lost back to back games since Jan 10th as they 1) don’t lose much and 2) typically bounce back very well, and they will be coming for blood tonight.
Toronto Maple Leafs vs Oilers – Over 7.0 Goals @1/1
The Oilers did everything they could just to hold the Bruins to 3 goals in their previous game and we don’t think they can do it again against this powerful Leafs offense, even if Mattias Ekholm (who they just traded for to shore up their defense) arrives in time to play for tonight’s game. Auston Matthews also appeared to get back on track with 2 goals in his last game and will hopefully continue his scoring. Leafs are 5-1 in their last 6 games with 26 goals scored over that span.
New York Rangers ML @4/9 vs Philadelphia Flyers
First game of a back to back for the Rangers, should see Halak in net today because the Senators are a better team and it should be Shesterkin starting tomorrow. Halak has been good this year, he’s a quality backup and he has been playing just as good as Shesterkin lately. In net for the Flyers will likely be Carter Hart, he is an elite goalie but has been inconsistent this year. Has allowed 16 GA over his last 4 starts.
Flyers really struggle to score, held to 2 goals or less in 8 of their last 10 games. Flyers are 29th in scoring this year, Rangers are 10th. Rangers are a much deeper team offensively, should challenge the Flyers all night in puck possession.
Jamie Benn to score @21/10 vs Coyotes
Jamie Benn has scored in both matchups against the Coyotes this year and he’s been super hot of late, having scored in 5 out of his last 8 games. The coyotes are not a good team, especially on the road where they’ve given up an average of 4 goals in their past 10 games. The Stars will score several goals tonight, with Jamie having at least one of them.
