The 2023 Daytona 500 is an upcoming NASCAR Cup Series race and the 65th running of the event. It will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2023, at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. It will be the first race of the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series. Daytona International Speedway. Opening in 1959, it has been the home of the Daytona 500, the most prestigious race in NASCAR.

Gilliland ran great in Duel #2, did a great job pushing for Cindric and Amirola and made all the right moves at the end. Ended up in first with 3 to go and was heading for a first or second place finish until Larson bumped him a little too hard in turn two of the last lap. Was able to get on him @40/1 on Bet365 (Saturday Night). He will have a shot tomorrow if he can avoid the wrecks.
Lajoie also ran well in Duel #2, kept it clean and showed he has the speed to stay with the pack. Amirola is self explanatory (4th in qualifying, 1st in Duel #2, and 5th in practice).
