65th Grammys
Who Win

Grammys are this Sunday. Last year was a slaughterhouse for picking favorites, so will be interesting to see if favorites win this year or it’s another dog show.
Our Predictions:
This year our strategy is to pick out a few dogs and have those be our main bets. (The exception is Album of the Year, which we’ll explain in a second.) Additionally, we are adding some extra prayers before dinner and building up some good karma by not flipping people off on the motorway, in hopes of getting things to swing our way. Every little bit helps.
Album of the Year
Everything we read has Beyonce as basically a lock to win, yet her odds are saying otherwise. We do think some aspect of this is just the fact the Grammys aren’t that active of a market. But historically we know Beyonce has had difficulty actually converting her nominations into wins, so that’s probably part of it. Nonetheless, the value here seems tremendous.
Pick: Beyonce @4/6
Record of the Year
From what we gather this and Song of the Year are basically toss-ups amongst the frontrunners of Adele, Harry Styles, and Beyonce to an extent. Because of how murky it is, were just rolling with a couple dogs primarily, with one of the favorites as a hedge. But we personally think Styles wins song and Adele wins Record but honestly who knows.
Pick: Adele @4/7
Song of the Year
Similar strategy as Record, taking a few dogs with one frontrunner as a hedge. We personally think Adele wins Song but her juice is kinda meh at 1/1, compared to Styles who has 7/4 or Swift 4/1. It’s tough to get a read on Swift since pretty much every site likes her as a frontrunner but basically nobody’s actually picking her to win. So were rolling with Styles as our frontrunner but we fully acknowledge this category (and Record) are very volatile.
Pick: Harry Styles @7/4
Best New Artist
The most wide open category on the slate. Latto seems to be the favorite but only slightly so and probably appropriately priced at 8/11. We think there’s two strategies here: Put a bit on Latto and hope the voters like a hit song. Or go with some dark horse picks. Were going with the latter since we do see a favorite taking this category.
Pick: Wet Leg @9/2
The 65th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony will be held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on February 5, 2023. It will recognize the best recordings, compositions, and artists of the eligibility year, running from October 1, 2021, to September 30, 2022. The nominations were announced on November 15, 2022.
