The Islanders are averaging 1.6 goals in their last 10 games. Goals for the Red Wings haven’t necessarily been coming easy either, especially on the road, AND they’re playing back to back games. Seems simple and hopefully it is.
Seattle Kraken ML @10/11 vs Calgary Flames
The Flames will be on a B2B and will be visiting Seattle for their third game of the season. Seattle took the first in Calgary 5-4 and Calgary took the second game 3-2 in Seattle. We expect Jones in net for Seattle and Vladar in net for the Flames. Neither of these goalies stand out as significantly better than the other and have pretty similar stats on the year. We also see this game been dominated by a high flying Seattle offense, especially with Burakovsky back in for Seattle.
Seattle ranks 4th in the league for goals for (3.66 avg) and 18th for goals against (3.04 avg). The Flames rank 18th in the league for goals for (2.96 avg) and 14th for goals against (3.13 avg). Seattle has been playing quality hockey lately going 7-2-1 in their last 10 while Calgary has been inconsistent going 5-3-2 in their last 10, dropping some unexpected games. We think Seattle’s offense will be too much to handle for the Flames and we will see them pull away with a victory.
Maple Leafs vs Senators – Under 6.5 Goals @20/21
Leafs and Senators are both hitting the under 65% and 70% respectively. Getting this line in before it does move to 5.5. Should be a good game but low scoring if there can be such a thing.
Los Angeles Kings vs Florida Panthers – Over 6.5 Goals @10/13
The Panthers have been a great team to take with the over hitting at 58% and the Kings are not far behind them at 53%. 7 goals is a large number but the Panthers have managed to cover this line in 7 of their last 10 games. Recently they have been cashing this number in with 5 of their last 5 covering. In their most recent game against the Penguins we saw them score 6 goals but give up 7 in the process. The Kings are not hitting this number as frequently but have still had their fair share of games hit the 7 goal mark with that number covering in 6 of 10.
Carolina Hurricanes -1.5 @5/6 vs Sharks
This is San Jose’s 4th game of an 8 game, 3 week long road trip. They have lost all of their first three and they haven’t played since Tuesday. Carolina on the other hand are on a 3 game win streak and are fighting to keep first place in their conference.
Rangers ML @5/8 vs VG Knights
These teams tend to find themselves in tight low scoring games and playoff style hockey seems to be in full swing. We think neither of these teams will want to make mistakes and we will end up with a low scoring game edged out by The Rangers.
