We really like this spot and the odds we are getting. The Vancouver Canucks will be visiting the Seattle Kraken for their second regular season game of the year. We’ve got two teams that are somewhat consistent hitting the over, especially so with the Canucks. The Kraken have gone over 6.5 goals in 5 of their last 10 games and the Canucks have gone over in 7 of their last 10 games.
Were expecting Martin to be in net for the Canucks and he has averaged an .877 SV% and allowed an average of 3.86 goals per game. We will likely need the Canucks to score some goals to hit the over and they actually tend to play well against the Kraken, winning their last match 6-5, and winning the last 5 regular season games against Seattle. All of their previous 5 games have gone over 6.5 goals (not including preseason games). Seems like the stars are aligning for this game to go over 6.5 goals.
Rangers ML @7/5 vs Maple Leafs
Were really liking the Rangers here and we have took the straight ML, we also really like the 3 way spread here and it’s a bit safer. Rangers are 2-0 against the Leafs and won by multiples both times.
Hurricanes ML @10/11 vs Stars
The Carolina Hurricanes will be on the road against the Dallas Stars. The Hurricanes are playing arguably some of the best hockey in the league right now, just behind Boston. The Hurricanes play well on the road going 15-4-6. The Stars have played decent at home booking a record of 13-5-4. Both of these teams have a number of OT losses, so again we want nothing to do with OT in this game. The Stars have the ability to be a good team at time, but at other times look like things are just not clicking. The Hurricanes on the other hand, have been a reliable and consistent team this season.
Blue Jackets vs Oilers – Over 6.5 Goals @4/5
The Oilers have been scoring a TON of goals lately and we don’t expect the oppositions horrible defense to be able to stop them. As usual, we expect whoever the other team is playing against the Oilers to score a few as well so expect this to hit easy.
