Todays Top Pick:
Chasen Blair vs Helio Hernandez – Under 2.5 Rounds @10/11
Blair looks like a very legit prospect who is coming off of a split decision loss which should have been unanimous in his favor. He wrestled D1 at UNC but more importantly seems to posses natural power in his hands. His opponent Hernandez has little to no tape but we feel confident that Blair will be the better of the two. We like the u2.5 for a couple of reasons… Hernandez is much taller and lankier than Blair and their contrasting builds will be push this fight towards a finish. Blair should be able to rag-doll Hernandez similar to his previous opponents and we’ve seen him unload strong GnP. Blair also posses some background in BJJ and a submission is very much at play here (Hernandez has a surprisingly long neck which is relevant in this fight). Hernandez possess a karate and boxing style and has a few achievements in both. His height means that he could catch Blair with a knee during an entry. He is a blue belt in BJJ but that level of pedigree is almost never enough to deal with D1 American rasslin’.
Blair possess the ability to end this on the feet via his powerful overhand right or on the ground in a number of ways. Hernandez’ route to an upset is to catch Blair with a big shot, ideally during an entry. After suffering his first defeat at the hands of some poor judging, Blair will hunt the finish. Unless there is an open secret about Hernandez’ durability that we can’t find in our research this line should be wider.

Conor McGregor. Michael Bisping. Gegard Mousasi. Dan Hardy. Paddy Pimblett.
These are just a handful of mixed martial artists that cut their teeth in Europe’s leading MMA promotion, Cage Warriors. All before going on to make major names for themselves worldwide.
Despite popular opinion, this promotion is not just a feeder to the UFC and Bellator. It is widely regarded as one of the toughest breeding grounds in combat sports a place where action rules and kings become fools with just one shot.
