Hawks vs Orlando Magic -7.5 @10/11
The Magic are also riding a win streak, topping 6 games after beating the Tatumless Celtics on Sunday afternoon. Paolo continues to shine, as he put up 31 points against Boston, and now averages 21 on the season. The Magic have a solid roster, and have been playing well as a unit together, which cannot be said about the Hawks. As of writing, DeJounte Murray, Clint Capela, and John Collins are all ruled out for Monday night’s game. Last offseason, the hawks traded a lot of their depth for Murray, and their offense has become a “My turn, your turn” situation between the back court. However, without Murray, they are razor thin at guard, with Bogdan Bogdanovich really being their only solid perimeter piece besides Trae. Add on to the fact that Collins and Capela will also be out, and that Onyeka Okongwu will be tasked with guarding Bol. Just as a reminder, the Magic beat the Hawks straight up by 11 points in Atlanta during this current 6 game win streak.
Hornets v Kings – Kelly Oubre Jnr. 18.5+ Points and Rebounds. @2/1
Let’s start off with an absolute lock that has been hitting consistently this season with a 27 out of 29 strike rate so far and also 10 of the last 10 games. Only time this hasn’t hit, Oubre ended with 18 on two occasions and 16 at the beginning of the season. With nobody else capable of scoring the ball off the bench, KO will have multiple opportunities to smash this line out of the park. Rozier played minimal minutes tonight which may lead to him resting next game which will only push the line higher. Suggest jumping on sooner rather than later to get full value here.
NO Pelicans vs Milwaukee Bucks ML @20/23
Giannis is back for the Bucks tonight so we expect the odds to drop later that’s why were calling it so early. The Pelicans just lost 3 in a row whereas the Bucks beat Utah without Giannis and Middleton. Need we say more.
