Toronto Raptors vs Miami Heat -1.5 @10/11
The Heat are coming off a 3-game winning streak and they’re 5-2 in the last 7 games. Just losing to the Pacers by 2 points. However, they had been without Butler, who won’t be sidelined today, in this game. And the Heat also had only a close loss by just 3 points to the Blazers. In that game, the Heat got a comfortable lead at the end of the 3rd quarter. But the Blazers shot 70+% from everywhere in the 4th. Robbing the W out of the Heat’s hand.
Since franchise star Siakam is ruled out with an adductor strain, the Raptors are 3-3 for the last 6 games. Looks fairly good. But diving deeper into these results shows that the Raptors are doing badly without their Cameroonian key player. They got blown out in all three losses! They lost to the Pacers by 14 points and to the Thunder even by 19 points. They also lost to the Bulls by 14 points behind a 30-points performance by LaVine. In the rematch 1 day later, the Raptors won, but LaVine, Drummond and Coby White were too much quality misses for the Bulls to get something out of that rematch. For the other 2 Ws, the Raptors barely got the win against the whacky Pistons and lousy Rockets, which are both the absolute dead-last in their respective conference.
Indiana Pacers at Charlotte Hornets – Over 232.0 @10/11
Lamelo played last 2 games and instantly changed how hornets play, hes leading in field goals attempts and assists/potential assists, 34min last game so hes good to go. Home debut vs the 2nd fast paced team, with a lot of offense but not so much defense, should be a crazy game, good for Lamelo playstyle. Also Lamelo over 30.5 points is a good shout.
