Calgary Flames ML @5/7 vs Edmonton Oilers
Liking this match up a lot. Flames at home with 4-0 Jacob Markstrom the starter most likely in the net. He has looked amazing and the Flames have done a good job protecting him this year which will be huge against a high powered offense in the Oilers. Another plus is Oilers either are playing their backup goalie which has been ok or Jack Campbell which was giving rebound after rebound in their last matchup against the Blackhawks. We think Flames will get a lead and be able to hold on to it better than the Blackhawks and for that reason we pick this line.
Tampa Bay -1.5 @5/4 vs Sharks
Yes we know the lighting haven’t been the most consistent this year, but we feel they are starting to get the ball rolling and we’ll be damned if we don’t take them against the Sharks. They are a much better team and if they play well they should have no problem covering the spread. And on top of that the plus odds are too tempting.
