Our Picks:
Pacers vs 76ers – Pacers +11.5 @10/11
76ers have not looked amazing to start the season. They just lost to the tanking Spurs. Until they can prove to even win a game, were hammering any double digit spread against them. Yes we know the Pacers aren’t great, but they got some hitters that can keep them close, and Ben Math has been on a tear to begin the year.
Denver Nuggets -3.5 @10/11 vs Portland Trail Blazers
Not too many lines we like on Monday’s slate, but this one stuck out. The Nuggets always play the Blazers well (7-2 ATS in the last 9 matchups as well as beating them by at least 29 in their last 3 meetings). We know the Blazers are off to a hot start, but they don’t have weapons to stop Jokic, and the Nuggets have looked real sharp since their embarrassing first game.
Rockets ML @5/6 vs Jazz
This will be Utah’s 3rd game in 4 nights, with the last two (including today) going to OT. Jazz are likely a bit of a hot pick given their three surprising wins against quality opponents, which is probably why the odds are barely above even. Look for regression to the mean for both teams as the Rockets go for their first win of the season at home. And hopefully here it is.
