Trail Blazers vs Los Angeles Lakers ML @8/13
It’s a crucial game for the Lakers. They must get the first win tally to prevent further drama and chaos which gets the team more discouraged and dispirited very early into the season. Blazers are a feasible task.
Lakers lost to two high class franchises. Clippers great D had a big impact on the 1 for 16 3-point shooting by the bricking trio Westbrook, Beverly and Nunn. Lakers still lost only by 6 to the Clippers. Blazers are far off from having that great D. Warriors 3-pointers were the key for LeLoss in the season opener. Blazers are far off from having that great 3-point shooting.
CLE Cavaliers ML @4/7 vs Wizards
Wizards have started the year off great going 2-0 in their first 2 games but we see their streak ending here.
The Cavs lost their first game against a very good Raptors team and are currently hammering on the Bulls (watching as we post).
We actually don’t think the Wizards are bad either but Avdija and Hachimura still need to develop, Porzingis is not his best and Beal and Kuzma are good. They also have a certified scorer Will Barton who we feel they are not using to the best of his ability. The Cavs have a lot of options and are better defensively, they have good chemistry and can generate good flow offensively through LeVert and Mitchell.
Clippers ML @8/11 vs Suns
Suns are 0-2 ATS this season so far and ever since their meltdown last season against Dallas things haven’t been the same. As they work through their internal issues, were backing Clippers to win and cover tomorrow as Wall and Kawhi are well rested and PG13 should at least play decent tomorrow considering he dropped 40/6/6 last night and single handily willed his team to the wins against the Kings. Wall looked amazing on his first game back, bringing a very reliable long 2 threat in isolation which will be able to quench the drought that the Clippers often would get themselves into which would cause big runs. The Clippers have considerable depth this year and we see a Powell bounce back today off of a 1-10 FG shooting performance. Zubac should be able to limit Ayton tomorrow and we expect Kawhi and Wall and PG13 to perform well tomorrow and defend their home court tomorrow.
Warriors -9.5 @10/11 vs Kings 1.90
Kings on back to back? Warriors looking to bounce back from a loss? Yeah give us the Warriors at home here. Warriors covered -9.5 all 4 times they played the Kings last year (won by 12, 15, 12 and 19). Kings are looking super stale on offense and they don’t have the defensive personnel nor the discipline to slow down the Warriors.
