USA just came off an easy win in the quarters against Serbia with 17TURNOVERS. Serbia is a walk over to them, hence they were probably more lapse in terms of gameplay and concentration wise. On the other hand, although Canada won by 19 against Mali in quarters, they were extremely scrappy. Mali had 9 turnovers as compared to this Canada team with 4 turnovers. After the 1st quarter , the Canadians just switched off mentally , missing plenty of free throws and not making their shots. Mali gives up the most points per game yet Canada was only able to score 79 against them , missing the over at 84.5 points. The players to look out for is Kia Nurse & Bridget Carlton. Nurse is good in finding looks while Carlton is an absolute scoring machine. However, we have 2x MVP Aja Wilson guarding the rim, so it will be hard for this Canadian team to have good looks. Likewise for USA, they have amazing playmakers and shoooters. Chelsea gray, Stewart , Wilson , Briana Jones and a few others are all scoring machines if hot. Canada’s defence will not be able to handle USA offence, hence why were taking the handicap pick.
